With a large international workforce and ongoing organizational growth, the company needed a scalable way to support career development, promotion readiness, and knowledge sharing across the enterprise.

The Challenge

A global science-based company needed to support career development and promotion readiness for employees across regions, languages, functions, and legacy firms.

The organization wanted to help rising leaders build new capabilities, share knowledge, and gain broader context from colleagues across the enterprise.

Our Solution

Pollinate designed a global virtual mentoring program with a custom intake, mentoring toolkit, communications plan, evaluation metrics, and tailored matching algorithm.

Participants were matched based on language, career level, capability goals, functional knowledge, geography, and cross-legacy firm connection to support professional development and knowledge sharing.

The Results

The program has been running for more than 10 years and has matched over 10,000 participants.

The program continues to show strong outcomes, with 90% of participants meeting all or some goals, over 98% of mentees matched with their top capability preference, and a 97% Net Promoter Score over the last three years.
