Leading Beyond Boundaries: Building Strategic Leaders Across a Global Enterprise

A global multi-year endeavour, the Leading Beyond Boundaries program is designed to deepen directors’ strategic mindsets and increase adaptability and resilience in the face of constant change and transformation. It covers a range of relevant topics with emphasis on strategic thinking, communication and leadership at the director’s level. JMReid Group hosted 20 cohorts across 3 regions.

The Challenge

In the post-covid market at the early stages of AI impact, clients are looking for a wider range of insight with services that bridge geographies and specializations. A multinational bank holding and financial services company came to us seeking a strategic program to recognize and develop director level employees. The organization’s strategy focuses on client-centricity, global impact and organizational sustainability.

JMReid & Pollinate Approach:

Craft director-level behavioural competencies tailored to the organization.
Develop a six-month participant journey featuring early assessment, pulse checks and final assessment to understand efficacy and mindset change.
Leverage multiple learning touchpoints including virtaul course modules, group coaching and e-learnings.

The initiative took place over 6 months including a behaviours assessment, 6 virtual learning modules, 4 coaching sessions and a variety of asynchronous learning assets. The behaviours assessment was launched as a pre-and-post survey to all Directors and their managers to capture 180-degree feedback and track improvements while completing the program.

Pollinate's Value-Add

Pollinate collaborated with JMReid to identify and select an assessment tool aligned with the client’s desired outcomes, ensuring it could accurately measure the impact of the program on participants.
We provided hands-on support to administer the assessment, including technical guidance and troubleshooting (e.g. navigating client spam filter issues).
We Interpreted the assessment data and offered actionable insights on how participants and their managers could use the results to drive growth and development.

Executive reports from each region provided a comprehensive assessment of leaders’ current capabilities and progress.

Results

The program achieved a Net Promoter Score of 55, a result considered excellent since scores above 50 reflect outstanding customer loyalty and satisfaction
Across the regions, the organization saw increased ratings in all four behaviour areas: Navigating Complexity, Inspiring Trust, Fostering Growth and Delivering Impact.
93% retention rate from first to final session indicates strong engagement. (Of 7% incomplete, 2.5% left organization, 2.5% gave no reason and 2% were forced to withdraw due to competing business priorities).
