Cross-Pollinating Teams Through Leadership and Change

The Challenge

In late 2019, a Canadian municipality contracted Pollinate Networks to support its 100 leaders in the pursuit to integrate their newly discovered values into leadership practice. In early 2020, the focus of this initiative shifted towards supporting leaders working and managing through rapid change on the front lines of the global pandemic.

Pollinate Approach:

Strategically matched leaders into cohorts using Cross-Pollinate AI™.
Leaders across the enterprise were cross-pollinated with senior leaders to create supportive cohort groups.
The groups met through the summer and fall of 2020.
The work of the cohorts was to ensure that each leader had support for reintegrating team members back into the workplace, or continuing to work in a hybrid fashion.
Senior Leadership team members were supported with coaching and 360 leadership team feedback.
A self-serve portal of leadership materials was created that anyone could access at any point to refresh or get knowledge from a certain area.
Ongoing leadership development between leaders and employees continues.
